My other post talked about the Warriors dynasty forming, this one will look at one of the most unfortunate events of the Warriors dynasty.
Coming off a 2015 finals win, the Warriors started the 2015-16 season in Champion like fashion and carried that form through the season, powering them to a record breaking 73-9 season. The Warriors blitzed through the playoffs to face Cleveland for a second time in the finals. The Warriors came out on top in 2015 and the Cavs weren't helped by injuries to Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love.
In 2016, we finally got to see a fully fit warriors against a fully fit Cleveland, the Warriors started by looking like Champions in the first 4 games winning 3 of them.
Going into game 5, at 3-1 up Cleveland found themselves in a position no team has won from before. But heroics from their big 3 meant the Cavs went into game 7 at the Warriors home.
Lebron and the Cavs big three came to play hard and against all the odds won the game by 4 points in what was one of the most epic game 7's ever with great performances from Lebron who got a triple double and chasedown block on Igoudala when the game was tied in the 4th quarter, Kyrie with the game winning three and Kevin Love with a stop on Steph Curry.
This win meant a lot to Lebron cementing his legacy as one of the greatest to ever play the game by delivering on his promise to bring a title to Cleveland.
On the other side of things this was one of the most unfortunate events for the Warriors who completely choked in what was one of the greatest let downs after such a dominant season.
